BTS Jimin becomes the first Korean act in history to have THREE solo songs surpassing 50 million streams on Spotify

7 months ago, Jimin became the first Korean act to have 2 songs surpass 50 million streams on Spotify in 5 years (after Psy’s”Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” in 2012-2013). Now, the BTS’s member has broken a new record, becoming the first among all Korean singers ever to have three of his solo songs (Lie, Serendipity and Promise) surpass 50 million streams on the world’s largest streaming site!

Back in January, Jimin’s first self-composed solo song, “Promise”, broke Drake’s record om SoundCloud, by having more than 8.5 million times across the world in 24 hours. “Promise” has recently surpassed 163 million streams on SoundCloud, while “Serendipity” (intro & Full-length versions) have exceeded over 114 million combined streams on Spotify.

We are so proud! Jimin truly is Korea’s IT boy!
